In this pivotal position, you'll be entrusted with managing budgeting, forecasting, and comprehensive reporting for critical corporate functions. Your responsibilities include proactively identifying process optimization opportunities and cost efficiencies by leveraging sophisticated data and analytical insights. Roles & Responsibilities - Generate financial analyses providing clear, actionable business insights - Collaborate with teams to develop comprehensive expense and headcount forecasts, utilizing planning platforms like Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP, and communicating results efficiently - Execute closing procedures, including accruals, journal entries, and variance analysis for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting - Develop management reports explaining key performance indicators across diverse markets - Coordinate annual budgetary planning, quarterly forecasting, and long-term strategic plans - Respond to and analyze supplementary requests as required - Champion financial process automation and transformation initiatives - Engage cross-functionally to support overarching company objectives Business Partnering - Interface with multiple organizational functions to support financial reporting, planning, and specialized analysis - Support monthly closing processes, prepare comprehensive reports and variance analyses, and share insights with senior management - Demonstrate proactive data gathering, cost comprehension, and exceptional communication capabilities Transformation - Lead process improvement initiatives across assigned domains - Identify operational efficiencies - Support Evolving Financial Management (EFM) initiatives including continuous forecasting, automation, and streamlined closing processes Basic Qualifications and Experience: - Master's degree AND 2 years of finance/accounting experience OR - Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of finance/accounting experience Functional Skills: Preferred Skills: - 5+ years corporate-level experience - 3+ years progressive finance/accounting expertise - Strong executive communication and leadership capabilities - Ability to translate financial insights for non-finance professionals - Adaptable in complex matrix environments - Proficiency in reporting systems: SAP, MS Office, Tableau, Hyperion - Advanced quantitative and analytical competencies - Proven effectiveness in ambiguous scenarios - Concurrent project management skills - Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities - Strategic thinking and detailed analytical approach - MBA and/or CPA preferred - Pharmaceutical/Biotech background highly advantageous Soft Skills: - Advanced problem-solving capabilities - Superior verbal and written communication - Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder influence - Energetic, meticulous, and highly motivated - Positive, proactive professional outlook
