Paintgun is seeking a freelance Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, reporting, and systems for our dynamic creative agency. In this role, you will ensure accurate financial management and support our growth through sound financial practices.
What You'll Do
- Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping, including managing accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations.
- Own monthly financial reporting and ensure timely and accurate record-keeping.
- Manage company payments, payroll coordination, and invoicing processes.
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors.
- Improve and maintain financial systems and controls as the company grows.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
- Proficient with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus.
