As a Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial operations over a 6-month contract period. Working remotely, you'll support the Financial Control function by delivering precise month-end reporting, managing group cash flow, and ensuring all tax and regulatory obligations are met on time.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and verify month-end accounting entries and reconciliations
- Monitor cash positions across entities and support forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations
- Respond to audit inquiries and coordinate with internal and external auditors
- Review accounts payable processes and provide oversight to the AP Manager
- Support the Group Head of Finance with time-sensitive financial analysis and reporting
Requirements
- Familiarity with Polish accounting, tax, and statutory standards
- Proficiency in accounting software, including NetSuite, and fluency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Proven ability to solve complex financial issues independently
- Experience implementing financial systems or automation tools
- Strong command of English and experience in multinational environments
- High level of accountability and self-direction
Preferred Qualifications
- Partial or full professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA)
- Understanding of US GAAP, UK GAAP, or IFRS
