Artera is looking for a Finance Compliance Manager for an approximate one-year temporary assignment. You will be responsible for managing the company’s daily financial compliance activities, ensuring adherence to regulations for business tax, registrations, insurances, and related functions.
What You'll Do
- Establish processes and procedures for tracking, maintaining, and completing business license renewals and filings.
- Establish processes and procedures for tracking, maintaining, and completing state and local personal property taxes.
- Establish processes and procedures for tracking, maintaining, and completing federal and state fuel and excise tax filings.
- Manage property and apartment lease documentation.
- Serve as the primary business contact for compliance-related requests from corporate offices.
- Perform other related functions as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field from an accredited university.
- 7+ years of related experience in a large company setting, including interactions with internal and external customers.
- Experience communicating data and performance measurements to top management.
- 3+ years in a manager role with proven management and supervisory skills.
- Proficiency in accounting and tax preparation software.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Highly accurate math and accounting skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to provide input to strategic decisions that affect the business.
Nice to Have
- CPA or CMA certification.
- Master’s degree.
