Civiteq is looking for a proactive Finance Assistant to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave. This role is central to supporting the smooth running of our day-to-day financial operations, ensuring invoicing, revenue tracking, reporting, and compliance all function efficiently. What You'll Do
- Prepare and send client invoices using Xero, ensuring accuracy of PO numbers and supplier details.
- Update internal records, monitor unbilled revenue, and liaise with project managers to ensure timely invoicing.
- Ensure all financial changes are sourced from Kantata, with no manual edits in Xero.
- Prepare and submit financial data in line with Crown Commercial Service (CCS) requirements.
- Create and issue associate purchase orders.
- Manage documentation and upload to BambooHR.
- Track cash flow forecasts and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly revenue recognition reports.
- Support the finalisation of revenue figures and analysis.
- Assist with the production and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.

- Experience with financial compliance.
- Proficiency in financial tools such as Xero and Kantata.
- Strong understanding of invoicing and revenue recognition.
- Ability to manage purchase orders and maintain accurate records.
