Farmers Insurance is looking for a Field Territory Manager to lead our presence in Eastern South Carolina. This role is responsible for managing an assigned territory of Foremost Independent Agencies, driving profitable premium growth, and achieving key financial and operational goals. You will serve as the primary relationship between the agency and the company, developing strategic partnerships.
What You'll Do
- Own and manage the assigned territory to achieve financial and operational targets.
- Lead, develop, and execute a territory tactical plan and agency management processes.
- Independently build and cultivate mutually beneficial agency partnerships using a consultative sales framework.
- Create and execute high-quality agency strategies and plans to achieve written premium, profit, and new business goals.
- Collaborate with field distribution partners to align strategic and tactical components with key business strategies.
- Drive quality of new business flow, appropriate mix of business, and overall risk management.
- Provide appetite and target market clarity, identifying and addressing profit or quality concerns.
- Strategically utilize internal reporting and tools designed for the Independent Agent channel.
- Serve as a subject matter specialist to assist in leading, collaborating, influencing, and supporting internal business partners.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of five years of field insurance sales and management work experience with progressing responsibility.
- Demonstrated experience achieving consistent profitable premium growth and sales success.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree.
- CIC, CPCU, or relevant insurance licenses.
- Territory management experience, preferably within independent agent distribution in South Carolina.

This is an individual contributor role where you will work independently with minimal guidance and direction from management and field distribution partners.

Work Mode
This is a remote position, but you must reside within the assigned territory of Eastern South Carolina. The role requires weekly field travel.
