Systems Application & Technologies Inc (SA-TECH) is hiring a part-time, on-call Field Technician for summer operations at Dugway Proving Ground, Utah. You will support critical chemical and biological defense testing and range operations by performing essential field tasks and equipment operation.
What You'll Do
- Operate a variety of field vehicles.
- Operate a variety of equipment, such as aerosol sampling devices and test instrumentation.
- Fuel up generators and vehicles.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Availability to respond to 'after hours' alarms or emergencies.
- Willingness to work extended hours with little prior notice.
- Capable of working in field conditions.
- Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- A commitment to maintaining a productive and collaborative working environment.
- Current Driver’s License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must be able to secure a DoD Secret Security Clearance within 90 days of hire and maintain it.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical, as well as periodic retests.
- Must pass background screening to include SSN, Driver’s Record, and a Criminal Background Investigation.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in field test environments preferred.
