HIAB USA, a leader in load handling equipment, is hiring a Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform service, preventive maintenance, safety checks, and repairs on a variety of equipment at customer sites or Hiab locations. Your work will be crucial in maintaining productive customer relationships and upholding our technical and administrative standards.
What You'll Do
- Inspect, service, and troubleshoot equipment including Forklifts, Knuckle Boom Cranes, Loaders, Liftgates, Hooklifts, Skiploaders, and Hoists.
- Follow all applicable safety rules, agreed working practices, and environmental requirements.
- Stay current with technical developments via internal service bulletins and complete assigned technical courses.
- Respond to customer queries and concerns to maximize satisfaction, following Hiab Customer Satisfaction Guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and submit daily reports in the specified format.
- Identify sales opportunities and communicate them to the District Service Manager.
- Coach and tutor junior colleagues and trainees as needed.
- Conduct yourself in a way that promotes a positive image of the Hiab brand and adhere to the Quality System rules.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to obtain and maintain a 1-year DOT Medical Card.
- A valid Driver’s License.
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Must own the required tools for the job.
- Knowledge and compliance with Hiab USA Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
- This position requires 100% travel.

- Hourly Pay: $35.90 - $41.75
