Systems Application & Technologies Inc (SA-TECH) is hiring a part-time, on-call Field Technician for the summer season at Dugway Proving Ground, Utah. This role supports the West Desert Test Center (WDTC) in chemical and biological defense testing, offering an excellent opportunity for students.
What You'll Do
- Operate a variety of field vehicles.
- Operate equipment such as aerosol sampling devices and test instrumentation.
- Fuel generators and vehicles.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Availability to respond to 'after hours' alarms or emergencies.
- Willingness to work extended hours with little prior notice.
- Capable of working in field conditions.
- Ability to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- A commitment to maintaining a productive and collaborative working environment.
- Current Driver’s License; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy.
- U.S. Citizenship required and must be able to secure a DoD Secret Security Clearance within 90 days of hire and maintain it.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical, as well as periodic retests.
- Must pass background screening to include SSN, Driver’s Record, and Criminal Background Investigation.
