Systems Application & Technologies Inc (SA-TECH) is hiring a part-time, on-call, seasonal Field Technician for the summer season at Dugway Proving Ground, Utah. In this role, you will support chemical, biological, and non-chemical/biological defense testing efforts by operating field vehicles and equipment.
What You'll Do
- Operate a variety of field vehicles.
- Operate equipment such as aerosol sampling devices and test instrumentation.
- Fuel up generators and vehicles.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- Availability to respond to ‘after hours’ alarms or emergencies.
- Willingness to work extended hours with little prior notice.
- Capability to work in field conditions.
- Ability to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- A commitment to maintaining a productive and collaborative working environment.
- Current Driver’s License; ability to be insured through the company’s vehicle insurance policy.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Ability to secure a DoD Secret Security Clearance within 90 days of hire and maintain it.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical, as well as periodic retests.
- Ability to pass a background screening to include SSN, Driver’s Record, and a Criminal Background Investigation.
