Millennium Health LLC is hiring a Lab Services Field Supervisor (LFS) to manage all aspects of our field-based specimen collection operation. You will be responsible for staffing, training, compliance, and productivity, supervising subordinate Lab Services staff across a specific region to ensure prompt, courteous, and reliable service.
What You'll Do
- Recruit, hire, manage, and develop field-based Lab Services staff to meet company, customer, and patient needs.
- Manage daily staff operational hours and address timekeeping or attendance concerns through coaching or corrective action.
- Ensure adequate staff coverage for scheduled and unscheduled absences to support customer needs.
- Conduct performance assessments and deliver training, coaching, check-ins, and corrective actions as needed.
- Partner with recruiting to interview and onboard candidates efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to all compliance guidelines and company policies, managing corrective action in partnership with Leadership and HR.
- Create and organize workflows that comply with guidelines and ensure staff understand their duties.
- Maintain compliance documentation and conduct quarterly audits.
- Work with the Sales team to identify and address customer issues promptly.
- Identify opportunities to improve staff retention, reduce turnover, and improve team morale.
- Provide coverage for specimen collection in practices as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service as a representative of Millennium Health, maintaining a safe and professional environment.
What We're Looking For
- 2 or more years of experience supervising a team of 15+.
- 2+ years of experience with all aspects of employee performance management.
- Demonstrated ability to build and retain a high-performing team.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams).
- Self-starter who works effectively independently and with others.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain a home office.
- Flexibility to travel 50% or more.
Nice to Have
- Associate’s degree in a related field highly preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Remote supervisor experience is preferred.
- 2+ years in an operations or customer service role with an emphasis on compliance and process improvement.
- 1+ years of experience partnering with a sales team or individual experience in a sales role.
