About the Role
The technician will diagnose, repair, and service industrial equipment at customer facilities, ensuring systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards through proactive maintenance and responsive troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Install new equipment at customer locations according to technical specifications
- Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on industrial systems
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using testing devices and schematics
- Repair or replace defective components in machinery
- Document service activities and update work logs promptly
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all field operations
- Communicate technical issues clearly to customers and internal teams
- Calibrate equipment to meet performance standards
- Respond to urgent service requests in a timely manner
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools in service vehicle
- Provide on-site training to customers on proper equipment use
- Follow troubleshooting guides to resolve system errors
- Adhere to company service protocols and quality standards
- Coordinate service schedules with dispatch and customers
- Use handheld devices to report job status in real time
- Inspect equipment for signs of wear or potential failure
- Conduct safety checks before returning systems to operation
- Liaise with technical support for complex issue resolution
- Escalate unresolved problems following defined procedures
- Support product upgrades and retrofits in the field
- Ensure all work meets warranty and regulatory requirements
- Minimize equipment downtime through efficient repairs
- Follow environmental and disposal guidelines for parts and fluids
