Milacron is looking for a Field Service Support Technician II to deliver quality installation, maintenance, and repair services for our plastic injection and extrusion equipment. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components directly at customer sites.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair plastic injection and extrusion equipment using online and offline applications, including Industry 4.0 and Automation studio tools.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities on customer equipment.
- Interface effectively with customers during repair and service processes.
- Evaluate equipment performance and make recommendations for required repairs.
- Install computer software programs onto manufactured machines.
- Load programs into equipment.
- Utilize administrative tools including Concur, Sales Force, and ADP.
- Properly complete start-up sheets, calibration certificates, and PM documentation.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of hands-on experience working with hydraulics, mechanics, electrics, controls, or a similar technical skillset.
- Willingness to travel extensively, work overtime as necessary, and be out for a week at a time (with the possibility of 2 weeks if required).
- Willingness to train or have an extended stay in Batavia, Ohio, where our assembly headquarters is located.
- Ability to read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Possession of an active driver’s license free of restrictions based on fleet policy MVR reviews.
Nice to Have
- 2+ years of experience specifically working with plastic injection/extrusion equipment or similar machine tools.
- Good overall mechanical, electrical, and computer skills.

You will be part of the Aftermarket Service team, reporting directly to the Service Business Manager.
