About the Role

The technician will install, maintain, and repair advanced robotic systems in industrial environments, working directly with customers to resolve technical issues and optimize equipment performance.

Responsibilities

  • Install and commission automated equipment at customer sites
  • Perform routine maintenance on robotic sorting systems
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
  • Troubleshoot software and control system issues
  • Collaborate with customers during service visits
  • Document service activities and outcomes
  • Respond to emergency equipment failures
  • Calibrate sensors and robotic components
  • Ensure systems meet operational specifications
  • Follow safety protocols in industrial environments
  • Provide on-site training to customer personnel
  • Work with engineering teams to implement upgrades
  • Track spare parts and manage field inventory
  • Adhere to environmental and regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate service logs and reports
  • Support remote diagnostics when possible
  • Execute firmware updates and system patches
  • Verify network connectivity for AI-driven systems
  • Assist in root cause analysis for recurring issues
  • Coordinate travel logistics for field assignments
  • Communicate technical details clearly to non-technical users
  • Follow change management procedures for system modifications
  • Monitor equipment performance post-repair
  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers
  • Support commissioning of new system deployments
