Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on wind turbines
- Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections at wind farm locations
- Collaborate with customers to ensure equipment reliability and performance
- Troubleshoot control systems and component failures in the field
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Support commissioning and start-up of new turbine installations
- Follow safety protocols and regulatory standards during field operations
- Communicate technical findings to internal teams and clients
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed
- Install upgrades and retrofit kits on existing turbine models
- Use diagnostic tools to assess turbine performance
- Train customers on proper operation and maintenance procedures
- Work independently in remote and rural environments
- Adhere to environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Coordinate with engineering teams to escalate design or quality concerns
- Manage spare parts logistics during service visits
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements
- Provide feedback for product improvement initiatives
- Stay current with evolving wind turbine technologies
- Support continuous improvement of field service processes
