As a Field Service Engineer, you will deliver high-quality technical support to customers in the Nagoya region, including Kanazawa and Shizuoka. Your primary focus will be ensuring reliable instrument performance, maximizing uptime, and fostering strong client relationships through responsive and professional service.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on diagnostic instruments at customer sites
- Collaborate with Field Application Specialists and Technical Support teams to resolve complex issues
- Support customer satisfaction by delivering timely and effective field service across assigned territories
- Develop expertise across multiple product lines and stay current with evolving technologies
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience in a customer-facing service role
- Proven technical proficiency in field service engineering or related discipline
- Familiarity with managing service goals, including revenue targets and inventory control
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation in English; translation tools are permitted
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a medical diagnostics or life sciences company
- Working knowledge of English for technical understanding
