Join Intuitive as a Field Service Engineer (m/w/d), where you will be responsible for the service integrity of our products within an assigned area. You will perform essential maintenance, repair, and commissioning, serving as the crucial technical link between the manufacturer and our customers.
What You'll Do
- Perform service work in an assigned area, including maintenance, repair, commissioning, and software updates of Intuitive products.
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve technical faults on all Intuitive systems and related devices according to established processes.
- Coordinate and carry out system and hardware deliveries, installations, and commissioning.
- Properly document all service and repair measures.
- Independently handle all administrative tasks, including spare parts management, service reports, RMA processing, and expense reports.
- Function as the technical interface between the manufacturer and customers.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, provide ongoing technical support, and support customer training and events.
- Support and represent in adjacent or neighboring operational areas as required.
What We're Looking For
- Completed training in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable technical qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in medical technology, ideally with knowledge of surgical procedures and clinical processes.
- Solid technical knowledge, especially in handling complex electromechanical systems.
- Experience in technical field service and the ability to independently analyze and troubleshoot faults.
- Strong team orientation and the ability to work independently and responsibly.
- Very good written and oral communication skills in German and English.
- High social competence and professional demeanor in dealing with customers and internal contacts.
- Structured and reliable administrative working style with high documentation competence.
- High willingness to travel (approx. 50–70%), depending on region and customer distribution.
Work Mode
This is a local-country position requiring extensive travel within the assigned region (50–70%).
