About the Role
The engineer will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving equipment issues, performing scheduled maintenance, and ensuring systems operate efficiently. This position involves frequent travel and on-site work to support client operations.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose malfunctions in industrial machinery using technical documentation and testing equipment
- Perform on-site installation and commissioning of production systems
- Conduct routine maintenance to prevent equipment failures
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues under time-sensitive conditions
- Collaborate with clients to understand operational challenges
- Provide technical support during equipment upgrades
- Document service activities and outcomes accurately
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed
- Calibrate systems to meet performance specifications
- Train customer personnel on proper equipment use
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools
- Communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders
- Follow manufacturer guidelines during repairs
- Optimize equipment performance through adjustments
- Escalate complex issues to technical specialists when required
- Adhere to service level agreements for response times
- Work in diverse environmental conditions at client facilities
- Support remote diagnostics when possible
