About the Role

The engineer will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving equipment issues, performing scheduled maintenance, and ensuring systems operate efficiently. This position involves frequent travel and on-site work to support client operations.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose malfunctions in industrial machinery using technical documentation and testing equipment
  • Perform on-site installation and commissioning of production systems
  • Conduct routine maintenance to prevent equipment failures
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues under time-sensitive conditions
  • Collaborate with clients to understand operational challenges
  • Provide technical support during equipment upgrades
  • Document service activities and outcomes accurately
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
  • Respond to emergency service calls as needed
  • Calibrate systems to meet performance specifications
  • Train customer personnel on proper equipment use
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools
  • Communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines during repairs
  • Optimize equipment performance through adjustments
  • Escalate complex issues to technical specialists when required
  • Adhere to service level agreements for response times
  • Work in diverse environmental conditions at client facilities
  • Support remote diagnostics when possible
  • Ensure all work meets quality assurance benchmarks
