CCH Tagetik, part of Wolters Kluwer, is hiring a Field Sales Executive to drive profitable sales growth for our cloud software solutions within an assigned base of CPA firms. This remote role focuses on the Tax & Accounting division, requiring you to master our product line, manage a robust pipeline, and build strong client relationships.
What You'll Do
- Master the full line of Tax & Accounting products, including features, benefits, pricing, and competitive position.
- Implement the sales process to meet quotas and manage your assigned account list to support a healthy sales pipeline within Salesforce CRM.
- Develop new accounts through prospecting calls, industry meetings, trade shows, and presentations.
- Grow existing customer business by meeting with clients to understand needs and convey the value of current solutions.
- Identify gaps where products do not meet client requirements and collaborate with Product Managers on new development.
- Increase market share by finding opportunities in target accounts using competitive products and engaging clients at management levels.
- Plan and schedule sales activities logically to manage time and resources effectively toward sales goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to exchange selling strategies and marketing information.
- Work with other sales personnel and the Division Sales Manager to address account or channel conflicts.
- Develop and maintain an Annual Business Plan with accurate pipeline predictions, mid-year updates, weekly reports, and quarterly forecasts.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field; OR, 6+ years of software/SaaS field sales experience without a degree.
- 5 or more years of B2B sales experience.
- Sales experience with on-premise/cloud software, SaaS business applications, or content information.
- Experience developing and qualifying prospect lists.
- A track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and sales goals.
- Experience creating and implementing business plans and forecasts.
- Proven ability to convert networking contacts into legitimate business opportunities.
- Experience making in-person presentations to prospective clients to explain products and services.
- Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce.com.
- Demonstrated proficiency with a consultative sales approach.
- Ability to work with minimal oversight and within a matrixed organization with multiple sales channels.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and excellent facilitation skills.
Nice to Have
- Prior President's Club Achiever status or multiple sales performance awards.
- Formalized sales training such as Challenger Sales or Miller Heiman.

Benefits & Compensation
- Target salary range: $95,560 - $133,750 (for candidates in CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MA, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA).
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position for candidates located in the DMV area (Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia).
