Field Sales Development Representative

As a Field Sales Development Representative, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying and engaging new business opportunities. Your primary focus will be prospecting within an assigned territory, qualifying leads, and setting up product demonstrations that showcase the platform's impact. You'll work closely with Field Sales Account Executives to align on strategy and ensure seamless deal progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline by identifying and qualifying prospects through proactive outreach
  • Keep sales forecasts, activity logs, and CRM records accurate and up to date
  • Create tailored outreach strategies to build trust and engagement with potential clients
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to schedule and support on-site product demonstrations
  • Take ownership of select full-cycle sales, managing the process from initial contact through closing
  • Deliver targeted product demos—onsite or virtually—by mastering platform features and business value
  • Reside in or be willing to relocate to your designated territory
  • Support onboarding for new team members and contribute to cross-functional projects as needed

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven success in B2B SaaS sales with a history of meeting or exceeding targets consistently
  • At least two years of outbound sales experience, or one year in field sales
  • Strong communication skills for high-volume outreach and handling objections effectively
  • Ability to clearly convey product value at varying levels of detail
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and openness to feedback and coaching
  • Self-discipline to manage a remote schedule with accountability
  • Reliable transportation for in-person meetings and demos
  • Experience mentoring teammates and sharing best practices
  • Adaptability to navigate challenges and find creative solutions

Work Environment

This role operates remotely but requires presence within one of the designated markets, including Dallas, New York/North Jersey, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, Washington DC, Miami, San Francisco Bay Area, Orlando, Tampa, Minneapolis, Charlotte, Phoenix, Detroit, Denver, and San Diego. You must be able to work locally within your assigned territory.

Compensation

Hourly rate between $29.63 and $31.71 USD for U.S.-based candidates, plus uncapped commission and equity as part of total pay. Extensive support and training are built into the role to fuel long-term career growth.
