About the Role

Meter is hiring a Field Marketing & Events professional responsible for building and executing programs to drive pipeline, engage target accounts, and grow brand presence. You'll build the field marketing playbook from scratch, testing formats and optimizing for conversion to support sales and channel teams as a strategic growth partner.

What You'll Do

  • Build and execute field marketing programs that drive pipeline, engage target accounts, and grow brand presence in regions dominated by legacy vendors.
  • Build the field marketing playbook from scratch, testing formats and optimizing for conversion.
  • Help sales and channel teams create repeatable momentum in their territories.
  • Drive programs across multiple industries including retail, financial services, insurance, public sector, and healthcare.
  • Lead both third-party and Meter-hosted events that shape Meter’s presence in key markets through tailored regional strategies.
  • Execute the current event calendar with excellence, raising the bar on presence at top industry events.
  • Manage all event logistics, production, venue sourcing, budget tracking, marketing campaigns, sales enablement, content development, ROI analysis, and audience acquisition.
  • Create field events and experiences with a guest-first approach to bring the Meter brand and product to life.
  • Serve as the primary field marketing contact for the sales team, ensuring event strategies align with account priorities and pipeline goals.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales leadership, sales/channel managers, creative/brand design, growth marketing, partner marketing, and product marketing.
  • Leverage larger event presences and marketing campaigns to amplify results in your specific region, localizing best practices.
  • Roll up post-event results, distill insights, and adjust plans to continuously improve outcomes.
  • Support onsite for events in your region and provide support during all-hands-on-deck events such as MeterUp & SKO.

Team & Environment

This role is embedded with the field, working cross-functionally with sales leadership, sales/channel managers, creative/brand design, growth marketing, partner marketing, and product marketing.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary: $130,000 - $175,000 + equity: Eligible to participate in Meter's equity plan.
