Inspect, maintain, and support essential network infrastructure across the Newcastle region in a role that blends fieldwork with accountability and safety. You'll be responsible for assessing and servicing physical assets including utility poles, underground pits, payphones, and exchange equipment, ensuring they remain in optimal working condition.
What You’ll Do
- Carry out regular field inspections and corrective actions on network components to support uninterrupted service
- Perform maintenance tasks efficiently and in compliance with technical and safety standards
- Respond to service issues with timely, cost-effective solutions
- Follow established health, safety, and conduct policies to protect yourself and the public
- Work independently while staying aligned with team objectives and performance goals
What You’ll Need
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles
- Relevant certifications as required by industry regulations
- Working with Children Check
