Responsibilities
- Performing onsite repairs across a wide range of material handling equipment
- Responding to breakdowns within Kalgoorlie, Esperance, and surrounding areas
- Undertaking diagnostic and fault-finding work
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers within the territory
- Collaborating with internal technical support teams to deliver effective maintenance outcomes
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a forklift technician
- Proven ability to work autonomously, particularly in remote or regional locations
- Strong technical knowledge and diagnostic capability
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a commitment to high-quality preventative maintenance
- Strong alignment with HCA’s Safety Culture, where safety is the highest priority
- Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships
Nice to Have
- Experience with large-tonnage diesel equipment
