Responsibilities
- Work closely with Engineering, Project Management, and Sales departments to create, deploy, validate, tune, transition, and document communication systems that fulfill or surpass client requirements.
- Use design software, planning resources, and standardized procedures to configure network, server, RF, and database components remotely and on location. Produce configuration records and baseline summaries.
- Manage physical setup of network, server, and radio frequency hardware using system schematics and product manuals. Supply as-built details for final system documentation.
- Diagnose network, server, database, and RF system issues both on-site and remotely using monitoring tools and logs. Maintain fault-free event logs and conduct preventive maintenance with emphasis on trend tracking and reporting.
- Carry out product and system test protocols for acceptance, resolve shortcomings, and deliver verified results for records. Validate and fine-tune analog and digital RF systems using FCC license details and design specs, delivering baseline measurements.
- Develop and implement solutions for advanced technical challenges arising during system deployment, modernization, or support, using project blueprints and client system data.
- Submit weekly summaries outlining completed tasks and progress.
- Apply comprehensive expertise in multi-site RF communication systems combined with strong computer and networking knowledge. Skilled in LAN/WAN IP networks, including setup, configuration, and upkeep of cabling, routers, switches, and firewalls.

Compensation
Base salary range: $70,000 - $95,000 USD

- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contracts.
- This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's 'Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy' and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.
