Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, GIS, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in telecommunications, fiber network design, or utility GIS record management.
- Proficiency in geospatial and design software such as IQGeo, AutoCAD, or ArcGIS.
- Strong knowledge of fiber network architecture, OSP/ISP design standards, and as-built documentation processes.
- Proven experience performing QA/QC on vendor or subcontractor design submittals.
- Familiarity with address management and network asset data integrity.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and version control.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing fiber networks for multi-dwelling units (MDUs) or private property developments.
- Understanding of aerial and underground OSP construction practices.
- Experience working within large-scale design-build or rapid deployment environments.
