As a Feed Sales Specialist, you'll build on existing partnerships with dealers and co-ops while actively pursuing new distribution channels to grow market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Expand reach by identifying and securing new dealer and co-op partnerships, with a focus on equine markets
- Act as the primary liaison for key multi-location accounts, coordinating with internal sales teams to meet revenue goals
- Assess regional demand and ensure product availability by guiding inventory planning with distribution partners
- Translate customer needs into product solutions, demonstrating how the brand’s offerings align with local farming practices
- Conduct on-site visits to farms and dealer locations to support sales, troubleshoot supply needs, and strengthen relationships
Qualifications
Candidates should bring 5–10 years of experience in agricultural sales or a related field, along with a bachelor’s degree. Familiarity with animal nutrition products and sales methodologies is essential, as are strong interpersonal and organizational abilities. Knowledge of grass-fed cattle and poultry operations is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a base salary ranging from $87,000 to $107,000, complemented by a target bonus of $30,000 through a commission-based structure. Work Location
