Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Federal Sales Director to drive revenue growth by acquiring new business and fostering relationships within federal government sectors. You will leverage top-tier cloud solutions and services in this high-impact, remote role, ideal for a self-motivated sales professional committed to public sector service.
What You'll Do
- Identify, qualify, and close new Cloud and Managed Services deals to generate recurring revenue from federal clients.
- Make a minimum of 30 cold calls weekly to build your pipeline and uncover new opportunities.
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies to grow services through field sales and channel partners.
- Collaborate with technical teams to capture requirements and deliver tailored, ROI-focused proposals.
- Create formal quotations, respond to RFPs, and ensure proposal alignment with client objectives.
- Track sales activities using CRM software and maintain a well-organized pipeline.
- Attend regular training, meetings, and networking events to stay informed and connected.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a consistent track record of exceeding quotas.
- At least 2 years of experience selling IaaS (AWS, Azure, GCP), SaaS, or cybersecurity solutions.
- Experience selling to public sector entities; strong preference for federal sales background.
- Familiarity with IT concepts and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Confident cold caller and relationship builder, comfortable engaging C-level decision makers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Hubspot or Tigerpaw preferred).
- Diploma required.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification required within 90 days of hire.
- ISO 9001:2015 training required within 90 days of hire.
