Marriott Hotels & Resorts is hiring an F&B Service Attendant to be the expert responsible for creating memorable and unique guest experiences. In this role, the primary focus is on people and service, with food and drink as a secondary priority.
What You'll Do
- Build memorable and unique guest experiences, taking initiative to manage service from start to finish.
- Set tables and event materials according to specifications.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team.
- Interact with and serve guests directly.
- Clean work areas and supplies to maintain standards.
- Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
- Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to your manager.
- Complete required safety training and certifications.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language.
- Develop positive working relationships and support team goals.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Nice to Have
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
Work Mode
This role requires onsite presence at the hotel.
