About the Role
Collaborate with a payroll vendor to manage all aspects of payroll operations, ensure compliance with regulations, support system enhancements, and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver accurate and timely payroll services.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the payroll vendor to manage all payment-related activities and resolve concerns.
- Accurately process bi-weekly payroll within established deadlines.
- Verify payroll computations covering base salary, overtime, allowances, bonuses, additional payments, and mandatory deductions.
- Ensure adherence to statutory regulations including tax, social security, and provident fund requirements.
- Prepare and file withholding tax documentation (PND forms) and other required government reports.
- Reconcile payroll figures with general ledger data and support Finance in monthly closing procedures.
- Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries about payroll matters.
- Liaise with banking institutions to facilitate salary disbursements and resolve transaction issues.
- Oversee year-end payroll tasks such as issuing tax certificates (e.g., 50 Tawi) and submitting statutory filings.
- Support initiatives related to payroll system deployment, upgrades, or process optimization.
- Safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of all payroll data.
