AbbVie is looking for an HR Manager to partner with Allergan Aesthetics business leaders in Thailand. In this strategic role, you will formulate HR strategies, implement programs, and drive organizational effectiveness. You will serve as a key advisor and retain responsibility for specialized HR functions including organizational development, employee relations, hiring, and compensation.
What You'll Do
- Plan, develop, and implement HR policies, programs, and processes for talent acquisition, talent management, rewards, and employee relations.
- Assess business needs, develop HR strategies, and coach managers to maximize organizational effectiveness.
- Represent the HR organization and drive business growth in line with company strategies and regulations.
- Manage end-to-end HR programs and lead HR process enhancements in Thailand, partnering with the HR Center of Excellence.
- Ensure HR compliance with company policies and local labor law.
- Lead HR project implementation in Thailand and manage change effectively.
- Provide expert consultative advice to managers and employees on HR policies, programs, and employee relations.
- Collaborate with managers and the CE team to develop training programs that address current and future skill gaps.
- Evaluate and select appropriate training resources, methods, and technologies.
- Identify and cultivate leadership talent through mentoring and coaching initiatives.
- Design and execute leadership training programs for high-potential employees.
- Work with the leadership team to identify critical roles and develop succession plans.
- Conduct career assessments and provide guidance to support professional growth.
- Collaborate with the Total Rewards team to design and manage competitive salary structures aligned with strategic goals.
- Develop and administer employee benefits programs including health insurance and retirement plans.
- Evaluate and recommend enhancements to benefits offerings.
- Communicate Total Rewards programs to employees clearly and effectively.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
- Provide insights and reports to leadership on trends, risks, and opportunities related to Total Rewards.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 10+ years of experience as an HR Professional, working hands-on with back-office functions and advising managers.
- Good technical knowledge of labor laws, management, and HR functions.
- Strong organizational awareness and ability to work within a matrix structure to build consensus and achieve common goals.
- Proven ability to build solid relationships and partner collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Thai and English, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have
- A post-graduate qualification in Human Resources or another major.
- Experience in the aesthetic industry.
Team & Environment
You will work closely with the HR Center of Excellence and a regional team based in Singapore.
Work Mode
This is a local-country position based in Thailand.
