Equip Health is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in eating disorders to deliver exceptional virtual care via our Telehealth platform. In this role, you will be a core member of a 5-person virtual treatment team, providing essential support to children and adults navigating eating disorder recovery.
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of eating disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions.
- Implement medication treatment plans for eating disorders and co-occurring conditions in a virtual clinic (telehealth) setting.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team of physicians, dietitians, therapists, patient mentors, and family mentors, along with outside providers.
- Utilize between-session messaging to support patients and communicate with the treatment team through the Equip EMR.
- Engage in treatment team meetings, supervision, and department meetings.
- Maintain a caseload of approximately 300 patients (adults and children).
What We're Looking For
- Board Certification as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner.
- Ability to maintain active Family Nurse Practitioner licenses and pursue cross-licensing as required.
- 3+ years of experience treating pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients in an outpatient setting.
- A commitment to providing excellent evidence-based care, advancing clinical skills, and a passion for professional development.
- Effective communication with patients and patient’s carers, responding to messages in a timely manner.
- Curiosity, a love of learning, and enthusiastic, collaborative participation in a multidisciplinary team.
- Must be licensed in California.
