Responsibilities
- Evaluate facility operations and lead initiatives to improve process efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness while supporting sustainability and product quality goals.
- Develop, test, and implement system and process enhancements, including conducting risk analyses and performance reviews.
- Advance continuous improvement efforts by analyzing operational data, tracking performance metrics, and assessing system reliability.
- Keep accurate records of equipment, maintenance activities, and technical specifications using a computerized maintenance management platform (iMaint).
- Work with external vendors, maintenance technicians, and equipment suppliers during commissioning, repair, and modernization projects.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards by implementing process controls and risk reduction strategies.
- Propose upgrades to equipment and assist in the deployment and development of preventive maintenance protocols.
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams and manage contractor activities to meet production and operational targets.
- Promote workplace safety by enforcing compliance with health, safety, and environmental management systems.
- Develop and apply best practices, standardized procedures, and creative solutions to boost output and product consistency.
- Take part in emergency response duties when necessary.
- Support team objectives by accepting additional relevant tasks as assigned.
