Computacenter is looking for Facility Management Staff to oversee the technical operations of our building infrastructure. In this local role at our Nieder-Olm location, you will ensure the smooth, safe, and economical running of our facilities, working with a people-focused company that has been successful for over 40 years.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and control the maintenance, upkeep, and recurring inspections of technical building systems, including electrical and HVAC.
- Manage and supervise external contractors, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
- Prepare for and provide technical support during audits in occupational health and safety, environmental protection, and energy management.
- Accompany projects in technical and infrastructural building management – from planning to implementation.
- Be responsible for the budget and costs in your area and make decisions with a view to economical operation.
What We're Looking For
- Completed technical vocational training, for example in electrical engineering, HVAC, or building services engineering.
- Several years of professional experience in technical building management or facility management.
- Knowledge of operator responsibility as well as relevant regulations and standards.
- Proficient use of MS Office and common digital tools.
- Class B driver's license, teamwork skills, and pronounced economic thinking and action.
