About the Role
This role is responsible for coordinating facility-related projects, tracking progress, managing documentation, and ensuring alignment with operational goals and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate planning and execution of facility upgrades and maintenance projects
- Track project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Serve as primary point of contact between contractors, internal teams, and vendors
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Maintain accurate records of project documentation and approvals
- Schedule and oversee contractor site visits and inspections
- Monitor project deliverables and report on status to stakeholders
- Assist in developing scopes of work for capital improvement projects
- Support facility space planning and reconfigurations
- Manage procurement processes for facility-related materials and services
- Coordinate with environmental health and safety teams on project impacts
- Facilitate communication between departments involved in facility operations
- Troubleshoot project issues and recommend solutions
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures during project execution
- Assist in emergency preparedness planning for facilities
- Maintain facility project databases and tracking systems
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and lessons learned
- Support sustainability initiatives related to building operations
- Prepare presentations and reports for leadership review
- Assist in managing facility modifications due to business changes
Nice to Have
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential
- Experience in healthcare or distribution environments
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Knowledge of LEED or sustainable building practices
- Experience with CMMS software platforms
