About the Role

This role is responsible for coordinating facility-related projects, tracking progress, managing documentation, and ensuring alignment with operational goals and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate planning and execution of facility upgrades and maintenance projects
  • Track project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Serve as primary point of contact between contractors, internal teams, and vendors
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
  • Maintain accurate records of project documentation and approvals
  • Schedule and oversee contractor site visits and inspections
  • Monitor project deliverables and report on status to stakeholders
  • Assist in developing scopes of work for capital improvement projects
  • Support facility space planning and reconfigurations
  • Manage procurement processes for facility-related materials and services
  • Coordinate with environmental health and safety teams on project impacts
  • Facilitate communication between departments involved in facility operations
  • Troubleshoot project issues and recommend solutions
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures during project execution
  • Assist in emergency preparedness planning for facilities
  • Maintain facility project databases and tracking systems
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and lessons learned
  • Support sustainability initiatives related to building operations
  • Prepare presentations and reports for leadership review
  • Assist in managing facility modifications due to business changes

Nice to Have

  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential
  • Experience in healthcare or distribution environments
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Knowledge of LEED or sustainable building practices
  • Experience with CMMS software platforms
