About the Role

The role involves overseeing electrical infrastructure in commercial fitness environments, performing maintenance, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring all equipment functions safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain electrical systems in fitness centers
• Conduct routine inspections of power distribution units
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in lighting and HVAC systems
• Ensure compliance with national electrical codes and safety standards
• Support installation of new electrical equipment
• Respond to emergency outages and power failures
• Keep detailed logs of maintenance activities
• Collaborate with facility managers on system upgrades
• Perform preventive maintenance on backup generators
• Test grounding and bonding systems regularly
• Inspect switchgear and panelboards for wear or damage
• Assist in energy efficiency improvement projects
• Troubleshoot motor control circuits
• Verify proper operation of emergency lighting systems
• Install and maintain low-voltage control systems
• Work with contractors during major renovations
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during electrical work
• Calibrate electrical meters and monitoring devices
• Support compliance audits related to electrical safety
• Provide technical guidance to operations staff
• Manage spare parts inventory for critical components
• Implement lockout/tagout procedures
• Review electrical schematics and blueprints
• Optimize power usage across multiple sites
• Coordinate with utility providers for service changes
