Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain electrical systems in fitness centers
- Conduct routine inspections of power distribution units
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in lighting and HVAC systems
- Ensure compliance with national electrical codes and safety standards
- Support installation of new electrical equipment
- Respond to emergency outages and power failures
- Keep detailed logs of maintenance activities
- Collaborate with facility managers on system upgrades
- Perform preventive maintenance on backup generators
- Test grounding and bonding systems regularly
- Inspect switchgear and panelboards for wear or damage
- Assist in energy efficiency improvement projects
- Troubleshoot motor control circuits
- Verify proper operation of emergency lighting systems
- Install and maintain low-voltage control systems
