Responsibilities
- Work with business analysts and stakeholders to collect and assess requirements related to claims, enrollment, billing, and provider information
- Convert business needs into detailed technical designs for Facets configuration, customization, and integration tasks
- Build and deliver Facets System Integration (SI) code, custom APIs, and other software solutions using programming languages such as C#, .NET, and SQL
- Tailor Facets modules—including Claims, Membership, Provider, and Billing—to meet specific client requirements
- Write and fine-tune SQL queries and stored procedures for data handling and system improvements
- Develop integrations with external healthcare systems and applications via web services, REST APIs, FXI, batch interfaces, and EDI transactions like 834, 835, and 837
- Conduct unit testing on all developed code and system configurations
- Assist in resolving defects and offer technical support during system integration and user acceptance testing phases
- Ensure all solutions are free from critical security flaws
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems in Facets applications, including claims processing and member management functions
- Deliver production support to maintain system availability, performance, and stability, including on-call duties when required
- Carry out system upgrades and fix application-level defects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as analysts, testers, project managers, and IT staff
- Attend project meetings to review progress, address challenges, and propose solutions
- Produce and update thorough technical documentation, including design specs, test outcomes, and support protocols
- Serve as a technical mentor and provide guidance to less experienced team members
- Promote best practices and implement automation where feasible
- Adhere to employment terms, company policies, and management directives, including changes in work location, team assignments, shifts, and remote work arrangements, as determined by the company at its discretion
