AECOM is seeking a talented and technical Façade Engineer to join their façade engineering team in London. The role involves delivering façade consultancy across a diverse range of projects including Healthcare, Residential, Residential, Commercial, Transport, Sports, Mixed Use, and Retrofit, often as part of a multi-disciplinary design team or directly with external clients.
What You'll Do
- Implement a holistic engineering approach on projects to encompass performance, buildability, and aesthetic considerations
- Develop façade solutions from concept to implementation with a range of façade systems and materials
- Work directly with clients, the wider design team, and supply chain, building positive relationships
- Carry out and review engineering analyses such as thermal, structural, and embodied carbon
What We're Looking For
- Experience with façade consultancy input to a wide range of clients and projects
- Pro-active contribution to the growth of AECOM’s Façade Engineering team’s capabilities
- Experience in implementing a holistic engineering approach encompassing performance, buildability, and aesthetic considerations
- Experience developing façade solutions from concept to implementation
- Experience working directly with clients, design teams, and supply chain
- Experience carrying out and reviewing thermal, structural, and embodied carbon analyses
