What You'll Do
Work overnight hours to support continuous extrusion operations, focusing on smooth transitions between production runs. You'll ensure rolls are correctly positioned and aligned as they enter the 'J' box, minimizing downtime and maintaining workflow efficiency. Throughout your shift, you'll handle material changes, including film and scrim adjustments, while scanning required production tickets to maintain accurate tracking.
You’ll routinely use mechanical tools for equipment setup and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy materials, moving dies and screws, and assisting with machinery repositioning. The role requires consistent standing, along with frequent bending, climbing, and crawling as needed. You’ll also contribute to team success by guiding coworkers on daily responsibilities and supporting cross-training across extrusion roles.
Routine cleaning and organization are part of your responsibilities, ensuring compliance with 5S and TPM standards. You’ll collaborate with team members to maintain a safe, efficient workspace and respond quickly to operational needs as they arise.
