We are looking for a strategic partner manager to grow and develop commercial relationships with offices of accountants and bookkeepers for defined Enterprise Partners. In this role, you will execute strategies that drive positive outcomes for our partners while contributing to Xero's revenue through sustainable growth and retention.
What You'll Do
- Manage existing relationships through regular best practice recommendations to drive expansion via cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
- Ensure every partner office has the opportunity to grow through education, events, and direct support to combat churn and mitigate deletion risks.
- Partner with the Enterprise Account owner to contribute to the overall strategy for the partner.
- Act as the liaison between Accounting Partners and internal teams (e.g., CX, Billing) to ensure client requirements are met.
- Meet monthly revenue targets on directly managed enterprise accounts.
- Develop migration and activation plans for potential new customers or upgrades.
- Engage with enterprise partner office relationships via in-person/virtual meetings, events, and workshops.
- Implement customer programmes, processes, and best practices, including deployment blueprints and product usage tips.

- Strong account management skills and capability to manage long-term client relationships.
- Track record in influencing and driving sales within partner or vertical channels.
- Enthusiasm for building strong relationships and ability to create quick rapport with partners.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with ability to articulate value in various contexts.
- Process-driven and results-focused approach, with plenty of initiative and ability to work autonomously.
Nice to Have
- Strong market knowledge of current Practice and SME software competitor platforms.
Team & Environment
You will be part of the Enterprise Team, partnering closely with Enterprise Account owners to execute on shared goals.
