3M is hiring an Export Shipping Process Analyst to ensure efficient and effective management of the export shipping process within our Global Channel Services organization. In this role, you will help both external and internal customers by collaborating with departments to guarantee timely and accurate shipments.
What You'll Do
- Identify and probe for customers’ needs, clarify information, research issues, and provide alternatives.
- Handle internal and external inquiries, claims, and complaints; interpret policies to investigate and resolve problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the global order-to-cash process.
- Manage sourcing, transportation, and delivery of orders throughout the entire supply chain.
- Analyze, recommend, and suggest alternative solutions to meet customer and account-specific needs.
What We're Looking For
- In course or Graduated Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade and Customs, Logistics, or Business Administration from an accredited university, or 1+ years of equivalent experience.
- At least 1-2 years of customer service, order management, and/or Logistics/Shipping experience.
- Experience with Incoterms, International Transportation, Freight Forwarders, and/or global sourcing.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience generating reports, analyzing data, and presenting findings in an easy-to-understand format.
- Knowledge and use of SAP and Sales Force.
- Flexible and adaptable with workflow processes and priorities.
- Highly organized with great attention to detail, analytical, customer-first mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
