Responsibilities
- Create and enhance animation frameworks including blending logic, inverse kinematics, and motion selection algorithms
- Implement networked character control using Unreal Engine 5 tools like CMC or Mover
- Design sport-specific movement, collision, and interaction animations
- Synchronize animation states across networked clients for smooth online gameplay
- Develop real-time procedural and physics-based animation techniques
- Collaborate with animators, designers, and gameplay programmers to implement features
- Guide junior engineers and support broader technical development within the team
- Perform code reviews to maintain high standards of quality and consistency
