What You'll Do
- Secure and assign freight loads using industry platforms
- Maintain consistent communication with freight brokers to confirm rates and delivery details
- Coordinate driver schedules to maximize efficiency and on-time performance
- Actively recruit Owner-Operators and guide them through onboarding
- Support ongoing management of Owner-Operators to ensure compliance and satisfaction
- Balance multiple shipments simultaneously while keeping all parties informed
- Build lasting working relationships with drivers and broker partners
- Stay organized under fast-paced conditions and adapt to shifting priorities
Requirements
- Proven background in freight dispatching with demonstrated success in high-volume environments
- Direct experience recruiting, onboarding, and managing Owner-Operators
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Proficiency with logistics software, ELD systems, and load boards
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and standard trucking industry practices
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and self-direction
- Ability to multitask effectively and set clear priorities
- Immediate availability to begin work
