Pearce Services is hiring an Experienced Critical Power Field Technician (UPS Field Engineer)

Responsibilities

  • Install small rack-mounted uninterruptible power supplies, battery systems of varying sizes, and associated monitoring devices.
  • Service and maintain battery enclosures, maintenance bypass units, battery monitoring systems, DC power setups, and related electrical infrastructure.
  • Perform scheduled and condition-based maintenance tasks, including diagnosing failures, replacing components, repairing systems, and installing or replacing battery strings.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering high-quality service and identifying opportunities to recommend additional products.
  • Respond to customer-reported issues in the field and resolve technical problems effectively.
  • Act promptly during urgent or mission-critical power events.
  • Train and guide team members in correct procedures for on-site work, diagnostics, repairs, and data interpretation.
  • Identify fundamental hardware, software, and connectivity issues using diagnostic tools across diverse systems and technologies.
  • Adapt responsibilities as needed to meet evolving project and client requirements.
