Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of market launches ensuring all functional workstreams are aligned toward shared commercial milestones.
- Proactively manage relationships with banking partners, legal advisors, and regulators in expansion markets.
- Drive momentum with external stakeholders through clear communication and expectation setting to keep project timelines on track.
- Codify the market entry process into a repeatable, scalable playbook.
- Document lessons learned from each launch to continuously improve time-to-market and operational efficiency.
- Establish and refine decision-making structures for every market.
- Define internal roles and responsibilities to unblock tasks quickly and ensure key decisions are documented and shared.
- Act as the bridge between local market requirements and the global Product team.
- Ensure each market launch is supported by a product that meets local customer needs and regulatory standards.
- Bridge information gaps by maintaining a comprehensive project view across the entire lifecycle of a market.
- Ensure key stakeholders are consistently informed and cross-functional teams are focused on highest-impact priorities.
- Manage the transition phase between a market going live and handover to local Country Managers or Business-as-Usual (BAU) teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in operations, expansion, or programme management, preferably within the fintech or payments sector.
- Proven ability to take initiative and drive complex projects to completion.
- Self-starter with a builder mindset who finds creative solutions to navigate obstacles and deliver results.
- Strong understanding of how operational execution impacts the bottom line.
- Ability to balance high-level strategic goals with granular details required for successful market entry.
- Exceptional ability to build consensus across internal departments and influence external partners.
- Rigorous approach to documentation and project tracking.
- Ability to synthesize fragmented information into clear, actionable roadmaps.
- Experience working across diverse geographic markets.
- Understanding of nuances involved in expanding across both emerging and developed economies.
