Standard Chartered was looking for an Executive Director

Standard Chartered is hiring an Executive Director for its Private Banking division in Singapore. You will be responsible for driving profitable growth by acquiring, developing, and servicing long-term relationships with High-Net-Worth (HNW) clients.

What You'll Do

  • Drive profitable growth by acquiring, developing, and servicing long-term relationships with HNW clients.
  • Manage the performance of your individual client book and deliver on NNM, AUM, revenue growth targets, and key operating metrics.
  • Generate a healthy pipeline of target market prospects and convert them into clients.
  • Grow client portfolio size by deepening existing customer relationships.
  • Implement asset allocation aligned with client needs and model portfolios as benchmarks.
  • Deliver, monitor, and review investment solutions based on client profiles.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of client accounts in accordance with established procedures.
  • Control costs and mitigate operational losses to support profitable growth.
  • Support the continuous improvement of processes to increase operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with support functions, business partners, and product specialists to deliver One Bank and effective client solutions.
  • Handle customer issues, complaints, and product enquiries promptly.
  • Maintain awareness of the regulatory framework and ensure adherence to the highest standards of ethics and compliance.
  • Embed the Group’s brand and values within the team.

What We're Looking For

  • A relevant degree and a level 4 RDR compliant qualification.
  • 7+ years of Relationship Management experience in Private Banking.
  • Demonstrable and relevant experience in the Private Banking industry commensurate with this level of responsibility.
  • Strong ability to develop a network of target prospects.
  • Proven risk management capabilities and firmness on business guidelines and compliance.
  • Sound knowledge of financial markets and investment products.
  • Excellent business communication and outstanding presentation skills.
  • Required licenses, certifications, professional memberships, and bank training as mandated by the role.

Team & Environment

You will collaborate with Platform Managers, Client Services Managers, Product Specialists, dedicated function partners, and relevant Front Office colleagues.
