BDO Australia (Bdoau) is looking for an Executive Assistant to provide critical support to the General Counsel, Head of Legal. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will enable the legal office to operate efficiently and maintain focus on strategic priorities. What You'll Do
- Provide executive support and comprehensive diary management.
- Lead meeting preparation and manage associated documentation.
- Handle stakeholder communications and relationship management.
- Monitor workflow and track actions to completion.
- Coordinate events, travel, and logistics.
- Provide administrative and financial support.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
- Act as the Lawvu Coordinator.
- Enable the team and provide strategic support.
- Manage vendors and external counsel relationships.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or senior administrative support role within legal operations, business operations, or professional services management.
- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes, implement systems, and manage change.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and project management skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships across diverse business units.
- Strong prioritisation skills with adaptability to changing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of drafting clear, professional correspondence and engaging confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- A high level of professionalism, reliability, and confidence in handling confidential information.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with initiative to anticipate needs and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation, scheduling, and administration.
- A collaborative and approachable nature, with the ability to build strong working relationships and contribute positively to team culture.
