The Environmental Protection Authority is hiring an Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to senior leaders at the New Zealand Consulate-General in Hawai'i. Our people represent Aotearoa New Zealand at home and around the world, building global connections and trusted relationships guided by manaakitanga and kaitiakitanga.
What You'll Do
- Act as a trusted partner with senior leaders, managing schedules, coordinating travel, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Support financial processes including monthly reconciliation, coding, tracking spending, and budget reporting.
- Assist individuals who need consular support, including vulnerable members of the community.
- Lead the planning, logistics, and execution of events from high-level meetings to regional functions.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience providing high-level administrative support to senior executives, including calendar management, travel coordination, meeting preparation, and confidential correspondence.
- Demonstrated discretion, professionalism, and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
- A background in planning and executing events ranging from small meetings to large-scale functions, managing logistics, supplier coordination, budgeting, and on-site support.
- Lawful right to work in the United States.
Nice to Have
- Experience with te ao Māori (Māori worldview) or ka wā kahiko (traditional Hawaiian perspectives), or a desire to learn in this space.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation of USD $58,240 per annum (midpoint of Band 13).
Work Mode
This is an onsite role based in Downtown Honolulu at the New Zealand Consulate-General in Hawai’i.
