ALDO Group is hiring a Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor to lead daily shipping and receiving activities and ensure operational excellence. In this leadership role, you will maintain compliance with safety and quality standards while supporting cross-functional teams like production, procurement, and safety. You’ll be key to managing carrier relationships and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
What You'll Do
- Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure materials are processed according to approved procedures.
- Direct and monitor associate performance, providing coaching and feedback to drive productivity, safety, and quality results.
- Maintain overall responsibility for operational performance, escalating maintenance concerns and issues promptly.
- Utilize warehouse management systems and operational data to make informed decisions and prioritize activities.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple modes, including small parcel, LTL, FTL, ocean, air, and rail.
- Manage freight forwarders and ensure compliance with international shipping documentation and customs requirements.
- Partner with carriers at all levels and support freight rate negotiations and cost-control initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, production, safety, project management, and procurement.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills while working independently.
- Perform work in an active warehouse environment requiring extended standing, walking, and the ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3 – 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations, or a related field.
- Forklift experience.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management principles.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills in MS Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivational skills to drive results, handle change-management, and achieve targets.
