About the Role

Harris County is hiring an Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support for the Health Prevention and Coordinated Care (HPCC) Division Director and Associate Director. You will be instrumental in ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations and supporting continuous quality improvement within the division.

What You'll Do

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including calendar management, scheduling, and serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate travel and process expenses, including arranging travel, preparing documents, and handling expense reports and P-Card transactions.
  • Manage correspondence and records, assisting with the preparation, review, filing, and maintenance of paper and electronic documents.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support meetings and presentations, including preparing agendas, managing logistics, and taking minutes.
  • Oversee office operations and support functions, such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring an organized work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least seven (7) years of experience in an administrative support role.
  • Advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and foster teamwork in a diverse environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Nice to Have

  • An Associate's Degree.
  • Public health or community-based experience.

Technical Stack

  • MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Team & Environment

You will provide administrative support for the HPCC Director and Associate Director, reporting directly to the Health Prevention and Coordinated Care (HPCC) Division Director.
