About the Role

Everyday Health Group is seeking a CPM QA Engineer to drive software quality throughout the development lifecycle for our Everyday Health Professionals business. You will partner with development and CPM Marketing teams to ensure MLR compliance, defect-free features, and successful campaign deployments.

What You'll Do

  • Write and execute manual end-to-end tests across front end, back end, and integrated systems for bugs and product feedback.
  • Develop test plans and cases within agile product teams, providing near-immediate feedback to engineers.
  • Write clear, comprehensive test cases and bug reports.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to resolve test failures and bugs.
  • Work proactively to improve the overall software testing process and environment.
  • Support holistic testing efforts for multiple projects, including integration, system, performance, and user-acceptance testing.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain deadline-driven test plans and prioritization.
  • Document and communicate test results and errors.
  • Troubleshoot testing issues with the CPM Team to successfully deploy campaigns.
  • Ensure metadata input in Ziflow, Jira, and Asana is complete and accurate.
  • Work with the team to implement and adopt testing practices.
  • Act as liaison between the MPT QA team and CP Marketing team, flagging site bugs to ensure MLR compliance.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience using Project Management tools like Asana to track tasks.
  • 3+ years of experience in the software development life cycle and software testing.
  • Ability to clearly communicate issues and deadlines to designers, MLR managers, and team members.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes.
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, Java, XML, HTTP protocol, and browser debugging tools.
  • Experience with bug tracking, source control, and build release tools like JIRA, GIT, Jenkins.
  • Eagerness to find efficient solutions to repeated tasks through automation and AI tools.
  • Ability to work on concurrent projects under rigid time constraints while remaining detail-oriented.
  • Self-starter with the ability to own functional areas under test with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized and process-oriented, with ability to maintain excellent documentation.
  • Ability to adapt and willingness to learn new technology or techniques.

Nice to Have

  • Experience using proofing systems like Ziflow.

Work Mode

This role is remote-friendly. Employees are located in 40+ states, with offices in NYC, Asheville, Boston, London, England, and Mumbai, India.
